We booked room 6 which had AMAZING views (double aspect windows). Lovely, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Fabulous, friendly hosts. Completely recommend the scrambled eggs and also poached eggs on toast with salmon - absolute perfection . My husbands full English was perfect too. Can't wait to stay here again and fully recommend. Thank you! Also recommend Lakeside Spices - an amazing Indian restaurant - just wow!
A truly wonderful guesthouse, the facilities are first class the breakfast you have huge choice, this is our second visit to this guesthouse we will be coming back again, if you are coming to Keswick or any other part of the lake district this is the place to stay.Stepn and Steve will go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one

Bramblewood Cottage is a beautiful B&B located in Keswick. We have been coming here for 10 years as we love it so much. Just returned from another lovely break in Keswick. Steph and Steve looked after us wonderfully well as they always do. We were lucky to stay in room 6 a lovely large,light room, wonderfully decorated and tastefully furnished. The room has a table and chairs in the bay window.The view is stunning over the park to the hills beyond. Over the years we have enjoyed staying in all the rooms upstairs ,each individually decorated and tastefully furnished. Breakfast is beautifully cooked by Steph,loads of choice on the buffet.I always have the full English ,my wife enjoys the buffet. Both very tasty and very healthy portions . There are some specials for breakfast too. If you stayed for a full week you could enjoy something different every day. Reading the scores of wonderful reviews,I was very disappointed with a review from the Wilson family.I can only describe this as a true work of fiction !! .And would urge anyone to completely disregard it. Steph and Steve are wonderful hosts and nothing is ever too much bother for them. Bramblewood is a spotless, comfortable place to stay and very reasonably priced. We will be back in the spring ,hopefully sooner .
The rooms were gorgeous and very cozy. I loved being able to come back to the room at the end of the day and relax. It was the perfect B&B experience. The hosts were incredible, kind and welcoming. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing. A beautiful B&B that overlooks the river and a cute park. It is a very short walk to Keswick Town Center. I can't wait to come back!
We stayed at Bramblewood cottage at the end of August and throughly enjoyed our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts was the best id had staying in a B&B. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk into the centre. The hosts couldn't have made us feel more welcome and were a lovely couple. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.
We stayed at Bramblewood Cottage at the end of February and we truly cannot express enough appreciation for Steph and Steve. They are incredibly welcoming and caring hosts — attentive, thoughtful, helpful and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well looked after. Breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning. The locally sourced products were exceptional — delicious homemade jam from a local lady and sausages from the local butcher. We absolutely loved that they support local farmers and businesses. We think it would be very fair to say that Steph and Steve’s full English is one of the best we have ever had! The cottage is in a fantastic location, very close to the lake and within easy walking distance of the charming town centre. If you visit during the colder months, you will definitely stay warm — the cottage was cosy and the heating was on for most of the day, making sure guests are always comfortable. Steph and Steve, thank you so much for having us. We had an amazing time! Highly recommended! A&J
